With an interest in aromatherapy, essential oils and natural therapies for many years, I have come to love essential oils and their healing properties. Love of natural products and creativity is what drives Cooinda Collective.
We are a small business located in the beautiful region of Gloucester, NSW. All our products are specially crafted and handmade locally.

About me
Hi! I'm Catherine
I'm the founder of Cooinda Collective. After a career in the healthcare industry I "retired" to live a more relaxed life in the small town of Gloucester on the mid coast of NSW.
I have always had an interest in aromatherapy, essential oils and natural therapies. These have been used for thousands of years, well before the development of modern, synthetic materials, and they worked! I believe in using the best natural, locally sourced products I can find and producing quality products that are good to use, kind to your skin and smell great too.
Creativity has always been something I have enjoyed, whether it be drawing, calligraphy, playing music, sewing, making cards, soaps, or creating anything really. However, you can’t always make a living from the things you enjoy. Before intentionally taking on something I truely believe in and enjoy, my real job was working in science; I was a medical pathology scientist working in the very interesting field of microbiology for many, many years before retiring. Now I have time to indulge my passions and create beautiful things that are not only good for you, but smell great too! There’s something for every one!
“Cooinda” means ‘happy place’ in the aboriginal language; and creating all these products makes me very happy.
